“David Hunt joined the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO), in 2001 after working for a number of years in the private sector. He is currently Her Majesty’s Consul General in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Prior to his appointment in Erbil, he has held a number of positions with the FCDO including as Ambassador to Lithuania and Deputy Ambassador to Croatia.“
